A Snapshot of Your Day As the Procurement Category Manager for Mobility Services (MS), you will manage the external spending on Business Travel, Events, and Fleet (including benefit cars and service cars & trucks). You will work closely with other departments to ensure Siemens Energy's needs are met, maintain and develop supplier relationships, and secure strong contracts.How You’ll Make An ImpactLead the MS procurement team in Europe and North America, guiding local sourcing activities across Siemens EnergyAttract, develop, and retain talent within the teamDevelop and implement global strategies for Travel, Events, and Fleet managementIdentify and handle procurement risks and opportunities while ensuring global alignmentsSupervise global tendering, contracting, and supplier relationship management activitiesDrive improvement initiatives, including booking tools and data tool implementation, while representing Indirect Material Procurement to senior managementWhat You BringA successful university degree in a technical or commercial field, ideally equivalent to a Master’s degree or equivalent experience, demonstrating a strong educational foundationA minimum of 10 years of confirmed experience in Procurement, Travel, Fleet, or related commercial areas is required to ensure a deep understanding of the industryExcellent managerial and communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external partnersValidated leadership abilities for leading a diverse, cross-country team, encouraging collaboration and high performanceExperience with digitalized procurement processes and systems with familiarity in SAP Concur are considered a valuable assetA strong analytical demeanor and planning skills along with proficiency in English (C1) for effective communicationAbout The TeamOur Corporate and Global Functions are essential in driving the company's strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence across various departments, business areas, and regions.
