About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Head of Project Controls to lead and drive cost-effective project administration and control for large-scale EPC projects in the Oil & Gas / Hydrocarbon sector.The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to mega / ultra-mega international EPC projects and proven experience in project controls across planning, cost, contracts, and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate all project control functions – planning, cost control, risk management, change management, and reporting.Oversee project scheduling, cost forecasting, and performance monitoring.Drive standardization and efficiency across project control processes.Manage budgets, cost control systems, and variance analysis.Ensure accurate progress measurement and smooth cash flow management.Review contractual and commercial deliverables, including tender documentation.Lead multidisciplinary and multicultural project control teams.Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning planning.Deliver timely, accurate reports and insights to senior management.Mentor and develop the project controls team to ensure consistent performance.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant discipline.Minimum 20 years of experience in project controls across all project phases – from FEED to construction completion – within the refinery, petrochemical, or oil & gas industries.Strong expertise in cost management, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and change management.Comprehensive understanding of EPC execution processes.Proficiency in Primavera P6, SAP, and other project control tools.Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.Preferred Background:Exposure to international, large-scale EPC projects preferred.Candidates with European, American, Japanese, or South Korean project experience will be an added advantage.
