Experience in purchasing across various countries in the Americas is required to ensure timely and accurate product availability, as well as the development of new suppliers, optimizing commercial terms to guarantee maximum profitability, ensuring inventory levels, and supporting product development.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a purchasing leader or managing a team of buyers.Intermediate Excel skillsExperience in the grocery, food, or beverage industry is desirable.Experience managing suppliers primarily in Mexico and the United States, as well as other countries in the Americas.Experience in developing new suppliers.Advanced English (Assessment required)Responsibilities:Negotiate with international suppliers in the Americas.Ensure inventory turnover without compromising availability.Lead the purchasing team and establish processes and key performance indicators (KPIs).Manage the inventory catalog, add new products, identify slow-moving or near-expiration items, track inventory levels, etc.Negotiate and improve relationships with current suppliers, as well as seek and develop new suppliers, ensuring availability and delivery times.Monitor market prices.Ensure profitability and optimal costs, taking market trends into account. Manage the timely supply of assigned products, ensuring availability and inventory control.Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, accounting, sales, warehousing) to ensure the proper execution of the purchasing process.Develop the purchasing team by establishing and analyzing performance indicators.We offer:Monday to Friday scheduleFixed salaryAll legal benefitsBenefits exceeding those required by law
