Head of Research And Development

Key Responsibilities:Lead and supervise the product development team, ensuring good performance and providing direction and support.Manage and allocate team resources to meet project deadlines and deliverables.Recruit new team members as needed to strengthen technical capabilities.Track department KPIs and implement corrective actions when necessary.Prepare and present reports with insights, recommendations, and status updates to stakeholders.Set long-term direction for product development across various business segments.Communicate technical knowledge and innovations to customers in support of business development.Ensure product development aligns with commercial and cost considerations.Work closely with manufacturing teams to scale up new products for full production.Coordinate information-sharing with related teams and associated entities.Key Requirements:Ability to oversee all aspects of product development, including planning, project management, and resource deployment.Strong capability to supervise and guide team members to meet departmental KPIs.Degree holder in Food Science / Technology / Bioprocessing or related filed.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Skilled in root-cause analysis and problem solving.Strong leadership and resource-management capabilities.Able to work independently or collaboratively to resolve issues.
