Join our flow.About The RoleAs the Head of Sales - Modernization, you will be responsible for leading modernization sales and offering development within the unit. You will develop and implement business strategies to achieve short- and long-term goals, ensuring profitability, market share growth, and competitive positioning. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions, both onsite and in our Training Center, ensuring that both technical and non-technical personnel gain a strong understanding of core concepts and safe work practices.In this role, you will design, plan, and document training programs in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, keeping our learning management system updated with all relevant materials, attendance, and results. You will also localize and adapt global technical documents, product updates, and training content to align with local needs—ensuring clarity, accuracy, and relevance.You will be expected to act as a key communicator, ensuring that updates related to products, working methods, and safety practices are consistently shared with field operatives and part-time trainers. Supporting the continuous development of our workforce, you’ll participate in competence assessments, induction programs, site inspections, and audits to identify training needs and close skill gaps.Additionally, you will contribute to fostering a strong safety culture by participating in incident investigations, identifying risks in the field, and coaching technicians to adopt safe and efficient practices. You will also regularly engage in Train-the-Trainer sessions, product updates, and troubleshooting activities to maintain your technical knowledge and instructional capabilities.Finally, you will represent KONE as an active member of professional training networks, collaborating with educational institutions and supporting outreach initiatives aimed at developing future technical talent in our industry.This position is essential in building the next generation of highly skilled, safety-minded field professionals at KONE.
