Job Description

Hydra Shift is an early-stage AI agency. We are not a "bot factory." We build custom AI agent systems that act as a virtual CMO, COO, and sales engine for SMBs. We have the tech and product vision; we are now selecting our sales co-founder.This is a ground-floor partnership to build a market-defining company. You will not be an employee; you will be an owner with an equal voice in strategy. The Reality (This Role is Not for 99% of Applicants)This is a bootstrapped, equity-first venture. No Base Salary: Compensation is 100% commission-based to start (10% new, 7% recurring), funded directly by the revenue you generate. A competitive salary will be implemented after we are cash-flow positive.Real Equity: We offer a significant, vested equity stake (20%). This is for a partner, not an employee. The Work: You are the entire sales team. You will be in the trenches building the pipeline from zero, personally cold calling, and closing deals. The Mission (What You Will Own)Build the Engine: Design and execute the B2B sales playbook from scratch.Hunt & Close: Personally source, pitch, and close our foundational clients through relentless cold outreach.Define the Market: Use direct customer feedback to help us refine our business model and find the most desperate, high-value pain points. The Profile (What You Must Be)A Proven Hunter: 3+ years of B2B sales (SaaS/Service) with a documented track record of closing deals via cold outreach.A Builder: You must have a founder's mindset. You are motivated by ownership, uncapped commission, and building something from nothing.Resilient: You thrive on ambiguity, feedback, and high-stakes challenges. If you are looking for a stable paycheck, a 9-to-5, or a pre-built team to manage, do not apply. If you are a high-performance builder who wants to own their future, let's talk.
