About the RoleOur client, a Saudi-based FinTech company, is seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to lead their commercial growth and merchant acquisition strategy. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep experience in payments, BNPL, or SME Financing, and a proven track record of scaling revenue through strong merchant and partner relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the company’s merchant acquisition and revenue growth strategy.Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing sales and partnerships team to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.Own the full sales cycle – from lead generation and pitching to deal negotiation, onboarding, and account expansion.Build and nurture strategic partnerships with enterprise merchants, payment gateways, and ecosystem players to drive adoption.Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Risk, and Operations to enhance merchant value proposition and product-market fit.Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and competitive differentiation.Design sales incentive structures, pipeline processes, and performance dashboards to optimize team output.Represent the company at industry events, forums, and client meetings as a thought leader and brand ambassador.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.6+ years of experience in sales or business development within FinTech, BNPL, or SME Financing.Proven success in enterprise merchant acquisition and strategic partnerships.Strong network within FinTech/ SME credit markets across MENA or GCC preferred.Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire sales teams in a high-growth environment.Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Data-driven mindset with solid understanding of sales metrics, forecasting, and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
