Head of Sales Implant Denmark (m/f/d)

Job Description

Main responsibilityThe Head of Sales Implant DK has the responsibility to develop and executing the sales strategy in Denmark to drive growth, market share and customer satisfaction for our implant, restorative and digital workflow solutions in Denmark. Lead, coach, and manage a high-performing team of Territory Managers to achieve sales targets, drive customer engagement, and ensure alignment with regional strategies and Straumann’s cultural and operational standards. The person will report to Head of Sales DIS Nordic. Profile must have a strong sales drive with a business development mindset. The position is based in Copenhagen and requires 60% domestic and international travel, as well as presence in the company office in Copenhagen.Specific responsibilitiesSales strategy and Execution Develop and implement the national sales strategy aligned with regional and global objectives and key priorities. In collaboration and alignment with HoS IBU Nordic set annual sales targets and monitor performance metrics (KPIs, pipeline, forecasting, P&L) Drive business development by expanding customer base and launching new products Monitor pricing, discounts and tender process. Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. Strong collaboration with Marketing, Training & Education, First level support and Customer Care. Build strong relationships with KOLs, GPs, Specialists, labs and key accounts. Ensure all activities comply with local laws, industry regulations and corporate compliance.Sales Team Leadership Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team of Territory Sales Managers to achieve sales targets compliant with our commercial and sales excellence strategy. Supervise and manage the sales team through provision of mentoring, effective training, evaluation, motivation, delegation and monitoring of their activities. Ensure the sales team operates within the parameters of Straumann’s Culture and business practice as directed by the Straumann Head Office and the Nordic Hub. Ensure that the sales force is thoroughly trained and highly motivated on products, sales techniques and strategy. Conduct regular field visits and sales meetings. Nordic KPI; co-travel and coach Territorial Managers in the field to a minimum of 40- 60 %Key Activities Manage and coach the Territory Managers to achieve sales targets within each region. Establish a climate that encourages the development of the Territory Managers within the organization. Develop and maintain relationships with customers to actively promote Straumann products (KOL; Key accounts) Maintain regular liaison with Head Office and the Nordic Hub to ensure corporate sales processes, legislative requirements and ethical standards are met and maintained Assist in the design, recommendation and implementation of sales and marketing programs and sets short and long-term sales strategies and objectives Provides market information to Marketing Manager and the Lead Team Travel as required within Denmark and the Nordic Hub as well as other potential locations in accordance with the Nordic Travel Guidance Participate in National, International trade shows, sales meetings, and attend other meetings as directed by the Head of Sales DIS, Nordics Develop, manage and monitor on a weekly, monthly base annual Sales budget for the country and manage expenses to maximize return on investment Continuing follow ups due to Talk forward process and KPI Establish targets for Sales Force productivity and effectiveness and efficiency Take active part of supporting ITI Lead Team in Denmark. Undertake other duties as requiredCandidate profileEducation / Professional Experience University degree in Business, Dentistry or Life Science Experience from working as a Sales Manager, a merit is from leading a Nordic role Strong network and understanding of the Danish dental market is a merit Experience and comfort in working within a fast-paced, international business environment is required with focus on Denmark as well as Nordic Hub. Experienced in people management due to the company’s guidance and cultural Experience of driving change and organization transformation would be an asset, both in terms of human perspective, strategies, and processes. Experience from the dental area is a strong advantage such as dental hygienist or nurse and /or dental technician background Experience in establishing and igniting a successful overall team spirit Language requirements: Fluency, both verbally and writing in Danish and in English is a must.Personal / Competencies Energetic and performance-driven professionals with entrepreneurial spirit and strong execution abilities.
