Head of SalesAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Sales to take the lead in driving national sales strategy across the health, wellness and sports nutrition sectors. This is a critical leadership position focused on developing and managing key retail and distribution relationships, increasing market share and executing strategic initiatives to accelerate revenue growth. Responsibilities:Develop and lead a comprehensive national sales strategy, targeting high-value retail and distribution partners.Identify opportunities for product placement, promotional campaigns and in-store initiatives that drive growth and enhance brand presence.Lead commercial negotiations with retail partners to secure optimal agreements, terms, and long-term strategic alignmentBuild and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers across national retail chains.Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, resolving issues promptly and ensuring customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.Identify new business opportunities and growth channels within the national retail landscape.Analyse market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity to inform sales strategy and product positioning.Partner with product and operations teams to ensure alignment on inventory, fulfilment and customer expectations.Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership, including performance metrics, sales forecasts and strategic recommendations.Oversee the national retail sales budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources.Qualifications:8–10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership within sports nutrition, health & wellness, or the FMCG industry.Demonstrated success in leading sales strategies, securing national retail partnerships, and launching new products or brands.Deep understanding of retail categories such as specialty nutrition, food, mass, and pharmacy.Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data into compelling sales strategies.If this sounds like something you or someone you know could be interested in, send a detailed copy of your CV to dylan@talentdrecruitment.com.au
