Role Objective:Overall responsibility for the Sea Freight division (Germany) with accountability for results (EBT), operational excellence, team structure, customer development, as well as an active interface to the Government & Defence division.In addition to full profit responsibility at the EBT level for the product area, the following responsibilities apply:Main Responsibilities (Core Areas):Operational Excellence & Daily ManagementEfficient order processing according to the “manufacturing principle”Ensuring service quality, adherence to deadlines, customer communicationDaily management including KPIs: P/L, sales, complaintsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLeading and developing the Sea Freight team (including training, onboarding, knowledge transfer)Development plan to ensure requirements of the manufacturing principleIntroduction of clear roles, substitution rules & feedback processesKey Account Management & Agent RelationsPersonal support of strategic sea freight customersOffer preparation & calculation together with Sales / G&DIdentification of potential in existing business and agent partnershipsInterface Management & CooperationClose coordination with Director G&D (operational implementation of sensitive projects)Close coordination with the Sales Director, ensuring correct use of defined sales toolsSupport of strategic initiatives & digitalisation (e.g. quotation tool, CRM)Participation in internal process developments (QM ISO)Main responsibility for CAPA leadership according to ISO within the area of responsibilitySuccess Criteria (KPIs):Operational stability & performance (lead times, complaints, DB1)Customer retention: cross-selling, repeat orders, satisfactionTeam stability: staff turnover, knowledge retention, accountabilityProject capability G&D: reliable execution of security-critical transportsAgent management: reactivation & targeted communication, partner care and business development
