Head of Strategy Development & Management

About the RoleACB is seeking a Director of Strategy Development & Management to lead the formulation of mid- to long-term strategic directions, oversee the execution of strategic initiatives, and optimize the bank’s organizational model. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping ACB’s future as we accelerate growth and drive large-scale transformation.Key Responsibilities1. Strategy Formulation & DevelopmentLead the creation of ACB’s 3–5 year strategy and annual execution plans.Analyze industry trends, market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to propose strategic directions.Integrate digital transformation, technology, operations efficiency, and data-driven initiatives into strategic planning.2. Strategic Portfolio ManagementDevelop and maintain a robust framework for managing the bank’s strategic initiative portfolio.Prioritize initiatives based on impact, ROI, risks, and resource requirements.Conduct scenario planning and financial modeling to support executive decision-making.Monitor progress, alignment, and effectiveness of key strategic programs.3. Organization Design & Operating Model DevelopmentResearch best-in-class organizational models and benchmark industry practices.Design methodologies and propose organization structure enhancements across the bank and individual business units.Establish alignment and governance mechanisms (e.g., RACI, cross-functional operating models).4. Strategic Partnerships ManagementIdentify, assess, and select priority strategic partners.Define partnership objectives and oversee execution to ensure value realization.Optimize the bank’s partner ecosystem to support strategic growth and digital transformation.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Economics is preferred.ExperienceMinimum 15 years in banking/financial services.At least 5 years in senior leadership roles.Strong background in strategy, transformation, organizational design, or strategic project/portfolio management.Expertise & SkillsStrong strategic thinking and systems-level analytical capability.Deep knowledge of banking business models, strategic planning methodologies, and portfolio management practices.Proficiency in financial analysis, scenario modeling, and resource optimization.Experienced in designing organizational structures and cross-functional governance.Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.PreferredCertifications such as CFA, PMP, Six Sigma.Experience in large-scale banks or top-tier consulting firms (Big 4/Big 3).How to ApplyPlease send your CV to: Lettm03@acb.com.vn or LinkedIn profile Or message directly to discuss the role further.
