The JobHead of Strategy - Major International FMCG playerThe CompanyFor a leading brand in their sector and operating across Central Asia we are seeking to strengthen their strategy team. Reporting to the Regional Head of Strategy based in Europe, you will be responsible for: The JobWorking together with the management team on the ground you will seek to adjust the execution strategy by delivering insights and market intelligence and offering growth strategies. This job will include dealing with all key stake holders in the business - Marketing, Finance, Production, Supply Chain etc.

You will be taking a lead role in the annual business planning process by coordinating all stakeholders. As you are covering the wider Central Asian region and with changing market requirements and challenges you will identify new category and growth opportunities - both organic and unorganic. You will be delivering commercial insights, strategies, and initiatives for the region. Develop and enhance existing systems to measure performance and identify areas of under performance. Dealing with the regional head office you will identify best practices from other markets with the aim of adopting those for the local market.

You will be the sounding board for new commercial and other initiatives with the aim of achieving set growth targets. Finally, you are not just the consulting coming up with the idea, but will be incentivized for the implementation of those. The PersonThe ideal candidate will have worked for a major strategy or business consulting company ideally combined with FMCG business experience. We are seeking a senior profile with at least 10-15 years experience in the field of consulting senior management teams on strategy and implementing change.

The job/action will require interaction at top management level and as change will not always be taken positively or accepted the job requires very strong negotiation and presentation skills. As we are not only seeking somebody strong with insights, analyses and number skills, you need to have a strong understanding of what drives business and talk in business language to key stake holders, who from time to time may have other priorities or different views and win their support.
