Expo Holdings (BD) Limited is looking for Head of Taxation - Finance & AccountsJob Description / ResponsibilityYou will lead the company’s overall tax strategy and ensure full compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations in Bangladesh.Work Location: Colloid Center, 206/A, Tejgaon Industrial Area, DhakaAbout the RoleTax Strategy & Planning -Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies aligned with the company’s operational and financial goals.Tax Compliance Management -Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns.Tax Accounting & Reporting-Review and approve tax computations, reconciliations, and provisions in financial statements.Regulatory Liaison & Representation-Represent the company before NBR and other authorities.Advisory & Cross-Functional Collaboration -Advise finance, procurement, sales, and operations teams on tax implications for contracts and agreements.Educational RequirementsBachelor/HonorsGraduation in Business StudiesCA (CC) with partial qualification preferredExperience Requirements8 to 12 year(s)Additional Requirements8–12 years of progressive experience in taxation, with at least 5 years in a leadership rolePrior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, construction, power, or large-scale service sectorsProven expertise in direct and indirect taxes, VAT on logistics services, and customs regulationsTechnical SkillsIn-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Income Tax, VAT, Customs, and Excise lawsProficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Sage, Tally) and MS ExcelStrong communication, negotiation, and leadership skillsJob LocationDhaka (Tejgaon Industrial Area)
