This is a newly-created, exciting opportunity to make your mark and shape your leadership journey within a global organisation. As the key Promoter and Tour Director for this vital market, you will leverage your established regional network to acquire, negotiate, and execute large-scale, world-class live events.RequirementsWhat does a day in the life look like? 1. Asia Tour Acquisition & Deal-Making Regional Acquisition: Lead the identification, pitching, and securing of high-profile tours and artists specifically targeted for key Asian territories (e.g., Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, etc.).  These may be standalone Asian tours or appended to tours across Australia/New Zealand.Deal Negotiation: Develop compelling commercial proposals and negotiate complex artist/agent deals tailored to the regulatory and market nuances of the region.Primary Contact: Serve as the primary, trusted contact for global artist representatives, managers, and agencies seeking to expand their presence in the Asian touring market.2. Asia Market Strategy & Business DevelopmentStrategic Relationships: You will already hold senior-level relationships with key talent agencies, managers, regional promoters and major Asian venues/partners.Market Intelligence: Serve as TEG's expert on Asia Market Trends, artist cycles, and the competitive landscape, transforming audience insights and data into actionable regional acquisition strategies.New Territory Growth: Identify emerging opportunities and high-potential talent specifically aligned with commercial objectives for TEG's growth across Asia.3. Commercial Strategy & ExecutionRegional P&L: Drive commercial planning, budget development, and financial forecasting for all Asia tours, ensuring viability and revenue optimization while operating within clear boundaries and compliance requirements.Cross-Functional Leadership: Seize the Moment by proactively collaborating with internal TEG teams (Ticketing, Production, Marketing) and external regional partners to ensure seamless execution and risk management across diverse legal and logistical landscapes.Post-Tour Review: Lead comprehensive post-tour evaluations focused on optimizing regional market strategy and acquisitions.About you Qualifications & Experience10+ years of senior experience in the live entertainment/touring industry with a proven, established network of relationships and expertise across the Asian continent.Proven track record in tour acquisition, complex deal-making, and successfully executing high-profile artists within the Asian regulatory and commercial framework.Exceptional commercial acumen, including regional budget development, financial analysis, and revenue generation tailored for multi-territory Asian tours.Fluency in relevant Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) or deep cultural competence is highly desirable.Strong negotiation skills and familiarity with international artist contracts and commercial agreements.LocationThis is a leadership role, with the exact primary base negotiable depending on the candidate's existing Asian network and TEG's strategic needs in the region.
