Position: Head of Warehouse & LogisticsIndustry: Ship Supply / Marine ServicesExperience Required: 7+ years in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain managementRole OverviewThe Head of Warehouse & Logistics oversees the full spectrum of warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely delivery of supplies to vessels. This role is responsible for optimizing storage, distribution, fleet coordination, and supplier management while maintaining compliance with marine standards and safety regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage warehouse, logistics, and delivery teams to ensure smooth daily operations.Oversee inbound and outbound logistics — from supplier coordination to vessel delivery.Ensure proper inventory control, stock accuracy, and timely replenishment of fast-moving items.Implement best practices in storage, labeling, handling, and dispatch.Coordinate with procurement and sales to plan and prioritize deliveries according to vessel schedules.Optimize routing and fleet utilization for cost-effective logistics.Ensure compliance with marine safety standards, customs requirements, and ISO procedures.Monitor and report on KPIs including delivery time, accuracy, and cost efficiency.Lead digitalization or system improvements (ERP/WMS).Manage budgeting, manpower planning, and performance of the department.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (Master’s preferred).7+ years of progressive experience in warehouse and logistics management, ideally within ship supply, marine services, or FMCG.Proven experience in managing large teams and multi-site operations.Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation, and local regulations.ERP or WMS proficiency (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
