Write weekly lesson plans and appropriate IEPs.Prepare and plan teaching materials to be utilizedMaintain a safe and orderly environmentSupervise activities for all children throughout the entire day.Monitor and evaluate each child’s physical, social, and emotional developmental domains and make referrals when necessary.Maintain current, up-to-date records of each child’s developmentPlan, Implement and Document adequate educational home visits with parents twice a year for each child in the groupWork cooperatively with the Assistant Teacher to plan, coordinate, and implement the education plan.Plan and carry out room arrangements, curriculum, lesson plans, and enrichment activities for each child’s development.RequirementsA Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.Ga PDS account with a Career Level of 8 or higherThorough knowledge of preschool children’s stages and levels of developmentAt least three (3) years of progressively responsible work experience with children three (3) to five (5) years of age.Nice To HavesKnowledge of Developmentally Appropriate PracticesAbility to effectively plan and coordinate classroom activitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to meet deadlinesMust be able to interact effectively with both individuals and groupsStrong organizational skills, computer, internet, and email proficiencyBenefitsSick Leave Paid HolidaysLife InsuranceRetirement About UsREACH Services, Inc.EOE
