Health And Safety Advisor

Wills Bros are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in Dublin.You will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all personnel on-site, as well as compliance with all relevant legislation and regulation.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local and national regulations.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.Lead investigations into any accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Liaise with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and implementation of safety measures.Monitor and report on health and safety performance, ensuring continuous improvement in safety practices.Keep up to date with the latest health and safety legislation and industry trends and advise management on necessary changes.Qualifications and Experience:A degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field.At least 3 years’ experience in a health and safety role within the construction or civil engineering sector.Knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations in Ireland.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ideally available to start in January 2025.What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Involvement in high-profile and impactful projects.Disclaimer: Please note, we are not accepting CVs from agency at this time.
