Job Title: Health & Safety ManagerLocation: Limerick, IrelandOverview: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Manager to join a leading Life Science project team in Limerick. This is an exciting opportunity to drive a strong culture of safety, professionalism, and knowledge-sharing across multiple sites, ensuring best-in-class health, safety, and environmental standards are consistently planned, implemented, and upheld.Become the trusted HSE partner that project teams rely on—adding value, guidance, and expertise every step of the way.Responsibilities:Provide strong, confident leadership in all aspects of health and safety.Support the BU HSE Manager in delivering consistent company strategies, expectations, and compliance with SOPs and guidance.Conduct high-quality safety inspections with the required frequency and depth, and contribute to risk reviews.Attend site following accidents/incidents and support or lead investigations as required.Act as the point of contact for enforcement authorities during routine visits or incident-related enquiries.Understand unique client requirements and adapt the HSE management system accordingly with appropriate approvals.Assist with tenders and prequalification submissions, offering practical HSE insights and solutions.Participate in project start-up meetings and other key engagements with project teams, clients, and supply chain partners.Promote, implement, and coach teams on effective use of the HSE management system.Deliver relevant and engaging HSE training.Qualifications:NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalentNEBOSH Construction Diploma or equivalentNVQ Level 4 / EFQ Level 5 in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalentSHE Technical Apprenticeship Programme (or similar)To hear more about this position or to discuss your suitability to please reach out to Nisha for a confidential chat on 01 632 5046 or email your CV to nisha.rutherford@recruiters.ie Your CV will not be sent to any third party without your consent.By applying here you agree to RECRUITERS storing your CV in our secure applicant tracking system (ATS; Bullhorn).
