This is a fascinating part of T&G where you'll be at the forefront of innovation and technology, working with leading minds in the horticulture sector. From citrus orchards to berry farms to tomato glasshouses, this is a dynamic role spanning sites in Northland, Waikato, and Queensland - so the flexibility to travel regularly is essential - with the role's home base being in either Auckland (Mt Wellington) or Waikato (Tuakau).Key responsibilities include:Partner with our Growing leadership team, advising on all aspects of best-practice H&S.Build H&S capability through coaching and effective process development and implementationPromote T&G's H&S systems and processes at all levels to foster a H&S-led cultureIdentify and assess hazards and risks, and prepare controls to eliminate or minimise thoseBe the key H&S contact for incidents / notifiable events in Growing and lead subsequent investigationsCoordinate external audits and action audit outcomesContribute to H&S projects and support the GM Health & Safety and Managing Director to deliver the strategy and annual plan.You'll join a well-respected H&S team, benefit from exceptional leadership, and thrive in our supportive environment that prioritises the wellbeing of our people.
