Health And Safety Officer

Job Purpose:Ensure a safe working environment by identifying and controlling hazards, enforcing safety regulations, and promoting occupational health and safety across all project sites.Key Responsibilities:Conduct site inspections and risk assessments.Deliver safety training and awareness sessions.Investigate accidents and unsafe conditions, reporting findings.Coordinate corrective actions with department supervisors.Test and monitor alarm and firefighting systems.Ensure use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain site cleanliness.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (max) / Secondary certificate or vocational diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (min).Ministry of HR “Practitioner” classification.OSHA certificate or equivalent.Minimum 2 years of experience.Fluent in English spoken and written.MS Office skills.
