Perform light housekeeping duties. Assist clients with meals and between meal refreshments. Provide respite for families and care givers. Documentation (e. g. , reporting client concerns, progress notes, incident reports). Engage residents/families in leisure/recreational programs.

Core RequirementsProvincial Continuing Care Assistant CertificationPersons with related education and/or work experience and are enrolled in or are eligible to be enrolled in CCA RPL ProgramStudents in nursing, CCA programs, and international educated nurses will be considered. Continuing Care Assistant in Training means a person employed as a Continuing Care Assistant who isCompleting requirements to become a certified continuing care assistantHired on a conditional basis in accordance with the Educational Requirements for Entry to Practice of Non-Licensed Care Staff Policy.
