We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.The shift pattern for this post is Mon-Sun 12hr shifts: days/nights/weekendsAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Neurosurgical teams as a Health care Support Worker within Ward 64,, Institute of Neurological Sciences.This is a Regional service which covers the West of Scotland. You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care, continuing professional development, an understanding of our service, and the specific needs of our patients (or a commitment to learn and develop these skills).You will demonstrate flexibility, and a willingness to participate in service progression and growth. The ability to work effectively in a team is essential, as is previous healthcare experience within a surgical ward. This post requires PVG scheme membership / Disclosure Scotland check as part of NHSGGC pre-employment checking for all appointed candidates prior to start date.
