We are changing how care is delivered by bringing together people like you -- passionate, highly skilled and motivated to make a difference.As our Patient Health Information Coordinator, you will ensure patient records are accurate, complete, current, confidential, and in compliance with federal and state regulations, HIPAA, and Genesis policies and procedures. By having accurate and current diagnostic coding, you will ensure timely collection of payment and improve Genesis cash flow.Maintain the Diagnosis List.Create medical record for all new patient admissions.Perform routine audits of medical records upon patient admission, throughout the patient stay, and patient discharge to monitor compliance with policies regarding documentation, physician visits and timeliness.Respond to telephone inquiries concerning medical records.Why Genesis?
