This HCA role is to assist the Registered Nurses in delivering a high standard of nursing care to patients in the Critical Care unit. This position involves working under the direction of our nursing team who are committed to delivering comprehensive, quality care to patients. This role varies from working with a wide range of patient conditions to the cleaning and setting up of high-tech equipment. The unit is currently expanding, and you will be joining the team during a time of change and team growth. We will offer a variety of educational opportunities, training and support.
These are permanent positions with a variety of hours availableAbout the Team/Service/ LocationThe ICU/CCU unit is a busy, acute in-patient unit comprising a clinical team of Medical, Nursing and Allied Health professionals. We provide acute Intensive Care, High Dependency and Coronary Care for up to 20 patients. We are located on the 3rd floor of Tauranga Hospital.
