Do you always put safety first?We are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor based in Te Anau or Queenstown to join our Health & Safety team. This role supports the enhancement of our safety culture and empowers leaders across the business to do the same.Embedding a health and safety culture is the responsibility of all our people and leaders. This role will provide specialist knowledge and expertise, working alongside the Health & Safety team and our leaders to support the delivery of their commitments and responsibilities towards embedding best practice health & safety.As Part Of This Role You WillWork with the Health and Safety team & operational leaders to drive active engagement and development of a health and safety culture across the business, including travel between Queenstown, Fiordland & Rakiura.Provide relevant expertise to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of health and safety policies, procedures and systems.Support all managers and other key staff across the business through effective collaboration and mentoring.Who are we looking for?A positive personality; someone energetic, proactive with high attention to detail.Someone with the ability to build strong working relationships.Strong administrative skills, including accurate record-keeping, document management, and proficiency in digital tools and reporting systems.Experienced in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of safety management systems, ensuring alignment with best practice and operational requirements.Desirable experience in tourism or maritime environments, with an understanding of their unique operational and safety challenges.Strong working knowledge of New Zealand's regulatory requirements.Someone with a full New Zealand drivers license.
