Work Pattern: Hybrid (with occasional client site visits – car and full driver’s licence required)Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pmSalary: €28,000 – €36,000 per year (DOE)About the RoleESA Consulting Associates is seeking a motivated Health & Safety Assistant to join our busy, supportive team. This is an exciting, varied role providing hands-on experience across multiple sectors including Manufacturing, Food Safety, Construction, and Commercial Businesses.On successful completion of a 6-month probation, ESA will invest in your professional development with training such as manual handling and first aid, supporting your career progression within Health and Safety.ResponsibilitiesLiaise with clients to arrange training and site assessmentsDeliver on-site training as requiredManage online safety training courses and documentationMaintain records, contracts, and compliance through our in-house system (Leap)Review risk assessments, method statements, and other documents for legislative complianceDevelop, monitor, and audit Health and Safety procedures and policiesKeep up to date with Health and Safety legislation and enforcement prioritiesSupport clients with accident investigationsPerform ad hoc administrative tasksSkills & AttributesStrong written and verbal communication skills; highly articulateProfessional, polished appearance and demeanorConfident meeting and engaging with clientsExcellent organisation and prioritisation skills; high attention to detailAbility to work independently and under pressurePositive attitude, patience, and dependabilityQualifications & ExperienceHealth & Safety qualification is a plus but not essential – full training providedProficiency in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); willingness to learn other systems such as Leap and Benchmark EmailEagerness to learn, progress, and contribute to a dynamic teamWhy Join ESA?Supportive, fast-paced work environmentOpportunities for professional development and career progressionExposure to a wide range of industries and Health & Safety functionsIf you believe you would excel in this role, we would love to hear from you.
