Health Safety Environment Engineer

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Engineer to support a Brownfield Expansion Project located in Sohar, Oman. This is a full-time, long-term role, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major industrial project within a dynamic and safety-focused environment.Position: HSE Engineer Location: Sohar, Oman Project Type: Brownfield Expansion Duration: Full-Time | Long-Term Assignment Total Experience Required: Minimum 10 years Relevant HSE Experience: Minimum 5 years Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Environmental, Safety, or Chemical) Certification: NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory)Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee HSE engineering functions and implement advanced safety strategies.Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments in accordance with client and regulatory standards.Develop HSE procedures, reports, and compliance tracking tools.Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.Deliver toolbox talks and promote a strong HSE culture among all project stakeholders.Monitor contractor HSE performance and ensure timely closure of audit findings.Maintain accurate HSE documentation and reporting in line with client requirements.Skills Required:Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE analysis/reporting tools.Strong understanding of industrial HSE standards and regulations.Effective communication and leadership skills.
