BIOSAFETY SA is a successful and reliable Health, Safety, Quality & Environment Services provider serving more than 1000 companies of various sizes in Greece since 2001. As we expand our operations, we’re looking for a dedicated HSE Supervisor to join our growing team. This full-time position will support a major refinery project based in Rotterdam, Netherlands and offers a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension.Your Role- Key Responsibilities:On-Site HSE Consultancy: Provide expert guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policiesSafety Standards Implementation: Oversee the application of safety and health protocols on the construction site, ensuring safety rules are followedManagement Systems: Update and manage systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) implemented by the client.Risk Management: Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and mitigate risks.Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents, near misses, and incidents. Implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.Environmental Compliance: Ensure environmental regulations are followed and implement sustainable practices.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of risk assessments, incident reports, training logs, and other essential documentation. Communication & Training: Effectively communicate HSE policies and procedures to staff at all levels, and lead safety training sessions Regulatory Awareness: Stay up to date with changes in HSE legislation to ensure the company stays compliantCollaboration: Work closely with the HSE Manager to support team goals and improve safety practices across the organizationRequirements - What you will need to succeed:Degree in Engineering (Polytechnic Schools or equivalent)At least 1 year of experience since obtaining your degree, with previous roles as a Safety Officer or experience in the refinery industry considered a strong assetIn-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with experience developing and implementing HSE policies and proceduresStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct thorough incident investigations and training sessionsProficiency in Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)Fluent (in writing and speaking) in Greek and English Advanced MS Office skillsExcellent organizational and motivational skillsExceptional writing, communication, and leadership abilitiesThe company offers:Career & Development Plan: Continuous training to help you advance your skills and grow in your role.Competitive Remuneration: A competitive salary package, including accommodation and travel expensesDynamic Work Environment: Join a team that values innovation, collaboration, and professional excellenceInterested candidates should apply by sending their CV to hr@biosafety.grAll applications will be treated with confidentiality.Biosafety SA is a demanding and an equal opportunities employer, observing all principles of diversity & inclusion.
