Job Description

The Health & Safety (HS) Specialist will lead and support H&S initiatives across 14 diverse sites including a Warehouse, Head Office, Experience Centre, Retail Centres, and Service Factories. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and driving continuous improvement in health and safety standards across the business. The position is approximately 50% field-based and 50% office-based,Responsibilities:Review and enhance the H&S management system to meet legal and operational requirementsEnsure compliance with statutory regulations (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, COSHH, RIDDOR, Fire Safety, etc.)Deliver monthly H&S performance reports and support strategic planningFacilitate and deliver H&S training to build team capabilityConduct and support incident investigations with root cause analysisProvide site visits and safety inspections to ensure compliance and identify improvementsLead and review risk assessments, including task-based and event-specificPromote a safety culture through coaching, mentoring, and challenging unsafe behavioursDevelop and maintain a risk-based H&S audit programLiaise with external bodies, consultants, and suppliers; support Porsche's EHS system and H&S projectsAssist in event safety planning and execution, ensuring all activities meet safety standardsRequirementsMinimum Qualifications:NEBOSH Diploma or equivalentEducated to Degree Level Full, valid UK Driving LicenceIOSH MembershipStrong understanding of statutory compliance, auditing, and trainingDesirable Qualification:Proven experience in retail and/or automotive environments preferredAbility to influence and lead across multiple functions and levelsExcellent communication, organisational, and time management skillsHigh attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindsetEnergetic, adaptable, and persistent in driving change and improvementDemonstrates a proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to take initiative, solve problems, and contribute positively to team goalsBenefitsPorsche is committed to promote a culture that champions diversity and equal opportunities.
