[What the role is]As a member of our Biology Division team, you will play a critical role in conducting serological testing, screening and DNA profiling on evidence submitted by law enforcement agencies, participate in lab improvement/ research projects through digital solutions and assist in developing/ validating new technologies/ methods.
[What you will be working on]Examination for biological fluids using chemical and serological testsConduct DNA analysis of crime samplesAssist in lab improvement/research projects through digital solutionsAssist scientists in developing/validating new technologies/methodsSupporting laboratory administrative duties such as equipment maintenance, inventory management, procurement of consumables, and preparation of laboratory reagents/suppliesAdhering to stringent quality control and quality assurance protocols, and assisting in laboratory quality assurance duties such as checking for expiry dates, conduct of basic performance checking tests[What we are looking for]Background in Biology/Biomedical Science/Biotechnology (or equivalent)Successfully completed supervised laboratory research in project in biochemistry.
