Industry & Sector: Healthcare services and management consultancy operating across hospital and clinical operations in the UAE. This on-site leadership role sits at the intersection of clinical governance, operational excellence and regulatory compliance in a fast-evolving healthcare market.Primary job title: Healthcare AdministratorRole & ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day hospital/clinic operations to ensure safe, efficient and patient-centred service delivery across clinical and non-clinical departments.Manage finance and resource processes including budgeting, cost control, procurement and revenue-cycle optimisation to meet financial targets.Ensure regulatory compliance with UAE health authorities (DHA/DOH/MOHAP) and drive readiness for external accreditations such as JCI.Oversee EMR/EHR and HIS usage—coordinate implementations, user adoption, data integrity and reporting for operational KPIs.Partner with clinical leaders to implement quality-improvement programs, patient-safety initiatives and performance metrics.Hire, coach and manage cross-functional teams; set operational policies and enforce standard operating procedures to improve throughput and patient experience.Skills & QualificationsMust-HaveBachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Management, Business Administration or related field.Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare administration experience in hospitals or multi-specialty clinics (UAE or GCC experience preferred).Demonstrable experience with EMR/EHR systems and hospital information systems (implementation or operations).Proven capability in budgeting, financial reporting and revenue cycle management.Strong working knowledge of UAE health regulatory frameworks (DHA/DOH/MOHAP) and accreditation requirements (JCI readiness preferred).Eligibility for registration with a UAE health authority or willingness to obtain required local approvals.PreferredMaster’s degree in Healthcare Management, MBA or related postgraduate qualification.Direct experience leading JCI accreditation projects or quality improvement initiatives.Experience with Cerner, Epic or InterSystems TrakCare implementations.Benefits & Culture HighlightsOpportunity to lead operations in a growth-focused healthcare consultancy environment with cross-site exposure across the UAE.Competitive UAE compensation package with professional development and certification support.Collaborative, outcomes-driven culture that values process improvement and measurable impact on patient care.Location: On-site — United Arab EmiratesAbout the employer: WADI ALSAHAB FOR MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCIES CO. is recruiting a hands-on Healthcare Administrator to drive operational excellence and regulatory compliance across its UAE healthcare programs.
