If you think you have what it takes to join our team, we want to meet you!Job Skills / RequirementsPosition: Healthcare Security Guard Ambassador-Full-Time- KGHSite: Kingston General Hospital (KGH) - 76 Stuart StHours: Monday- Friday: 0600-1400/1400-2200Averaging Agreement: Employment Standards Act (ESA) after 40 hoursPayrate: $22.61/hourInternal Start Date: October 31, 2025Internal Closing Date: November 7, 2025External Closing Date: November 30, 2025Job Responsibilities Maintain a professional, visible, and alert security presenceGreet, assist, and direct visitors and staffEnsure the safety and security of clients, property, and assetsConduct interior and exterior patrols, responding to incidents and emergenciesDocument, report, and investigate security events and routine incidentsPerform patient watches and support hospital operations as requiredEnforce hospital policies, parking, and smoking by-lawsManage access and key control, and complete monthly safety inspectionsWork effectively independently and as part of a teamPerform other duties as assignedJob RequirementsValid Ontario Security Guard LicenseValid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit TestProof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, Pertussis and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2) Steps to get your immunization records: https://paladinsecurity.com//wp-content/uploads/2023/07/How-to-get-immunization-records-Paladin.pdf Immunization Form: KHSC Immunization Forms Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis are required at the time of hire.
