A leading sovereign wealth fund in the GCC is seeking a highly skilled and driven Hedge Fund Allocation professional to join its Alternative Investments team. The successful candidate will work directly under the Head of Hedge Fund Allocation, contributing to the strategic and tactical management of a multi-billion dollar hedge fund portfolioKey Responsibilities:Conduct due diligence, manager selection, and monitoring of hedge fund investments across various strategies (e.g., global macro, equity long/short, credit, relative value, event-driven)Assist in portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management for the hedge fund portfolioPrepare investment memos and presentations for internal investment committeesMaintain strong relationships with existing managers and build networks with new and emerging hedge fund managers globallyEvaluate performance drivers, operational risks, and structural considerations in fund investmentsStay current on global macroeconomic trends, hedge fund strategy developments, and market opportunitiesIdeal Candidate Profile:8–12 years of experience in hedge fund investing, fund-of-funds, or institutional allocator platformsDeep understanding of hedge fund strategies, manager evaluation, and portfolio constructionStrong quantitative and qualitative analytical skillsExperience working in or with institutional investment platformsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present investment theses to senior stakeholders
