Hedge Fund Operations (Entry Level)

Hedge Fund is seeking an Operations Associate to join its small operations team in Fairfield County, CT. This position will work directly with risk manager. This is a full time position with the eventual option to work hybrid. ResponsibilitiesDaily review, reconciliation, and break resolution of cash, investment transactions, positions, and profit loss statements. Ensure accurate processing of corporate actions. Perform routine daily reporting tasks including fund-specific reports, margin analysis, stock loan analysis, and FX exposure. Maintain performing credit, credit activity, and interest rates in the portfolio accounting system. Reconcile bank debt notices to cash ledger for periodic payments amendments.

Resolve queries from the fund administrator. Assist with portfolio pricing and work with valuations to implement pricing updates. Load daily money market activity into portfolio accounting system. Assist in fund launches, including setting up new portfolios in the portfolio accounting and order management systems. Setup new securities in the order management system for trading and compliance. Perform wire responsibilities. Review and sort incoming mail items and send checks to the lockbox for processing.
