The ideal candidate approaches each challenge with curiosity and resourcefulness, understanding that many issues require creative problem-solving beyond a textbook answer. From preparing new systems to repurposing or recycling older equipment, the technician helps maximize efficiency and reliability across the organization’s IT environment. This role offers the opportunity to build technical expertise, contribute directly to user satisfaction, and grow into more advanced IT responsibilities over time.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesktop and local software supportPC and printer maintenanceBasic user account function with active directoryCreates login and password information for a number of systemsDetermine if new PC is needed, prepare PC’s, re-purpose or recycle old PC’s accordinglyQualificationsEducation: High School Diploma is required1-2 years of previous experience working as an IT Help Desk Technician or similar role is preferredIn depth knowledge of computer systems and printers is strongly preferredHands-on experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issuesExperience with Sage CRM/MAS, Exchange 2016, VPN/RemoteApps, VMWare, or VLANs is a plusGood written and oral communication skills is requiredSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis is a non-supervisory position.Physical DemandsGeneral office skills and dexterity are required.
