Help Desk Technician

You’ll be the first point of contact for employees experiencing technical issues — solving problems, keeping systems running smoothly, and making sure everyone can do their best work without tech headaches.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network issuesRespond to helpdesk tickets via phone, email, or in-person with speed and professionalismTroubleshoot Windows, macOS, and mobile device problemsSet up and configure workstations, peripherals, and user accountsMaintain documentation of incidents, solutions, and system updatesEscalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessaryAssist with routine system maintenance and updatesSupport IT projects such as upgrades, rollouts, and security initiativesSkills & QualificationsProven experience in a similar helpdesk or IT support roleStrong knowledge of operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic networkingExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsCustomer-first mindset and ability to explain technical info in simple termsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple tickets efficientlyRelevant certifications (CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft) are a plusOther RequirementsAbility to simplify complex challenges and deliver practical solutionsStrong customer focus and commitment to service excellence
