You’ll be both hands-on and a strong team leader, with practical building and maintenance skills, as well as the organisational and leadership abilities to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and motivate your team.

As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the general upkeep of the care home, including preventative maintenance, building repairs, gardening, mowing grassed areas, edging, weed control, and maintaining the building’s exterior and grounds. You will also work closely with the Care Home Manager to ensure the highest level of safety for our residents. Your Skills And ExperienceLeadership experienceExperience with general maintenance, painting, plumbing, and minor carpentry is preferred but not essential. Ability to work as part of a team and also independently. Ability to build good rapport with others and show empathy.

Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. A genuine love for helping people, with excellent customer service skills, and a friendly and positive attitude.
