YOUR NEW ROLEWe’re looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator who’s as detail-oriented as they are collaborative, someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in getting the details right. Reporting into the AP & AR Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for processing invoices, reconciling payments, and keeping our financial records accurate and organized. You'll work closely alongside a supportive team who believe finance is more than just numbers - it’s about making the business run better every day. This role is based out of our Vancouver HQ, with in-office collaboration Monday to Thursday.

On a day-to-day basis, the AP Coordinator will:

Manage the accounts payable inbox and organize all invoices, statements and other relevant documentation of your assigned vendorsCoordinate with all departments to ensure all invoices are properly approvedCode invoices to GL accounts and input vendor invoices into ERP systemReconcile vendor statements and communicate with vendors and/or internal departments as necessaryValidate approved vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and proceduresPrepare vendor cheques, and coordinate wire and EFT paymentsCreate and maintain vendor recordsProcess weekly expense reports and payments to employeesPerform bi-monthly credit card reconciliations, by working with stakeholders across the company to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and proper documentation of all charges incurredFile accounting documents such as receipt documentation, vendor banking information, vendor credit applications and other corporate documentsSupport other Finance team members with the month-end close and other ad-hoc projectsABOUT YOU1–2 years of experience in accounts payable or similar finance rolesUniversity-level courses in accounting (a plus, not a must)Great communication skills - written and verbalSolid MS Excel skillsExperience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics GP experience is a bonus), multiple entities, and multiple currenciesStrong time management and the ability to meet tight deadlinesComfort working independently and juggling multiple prioritiesFlexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentYOUR JOURNEY WITH HERSCHEL SUPPLYThe annual salary for this role falls within the range of $50,000 - $60,000 CAD.

This is a hybrid role, based out of our Vancouver HQ 4 days per week - Monday to Thursday.
