Job Description

High School Counselor AEL is seeking a HS Counselor, effective August, 2026. The Counselor will work closely with the HS Principal, IB Coordinator/Assistant Principal, current HS Counselor, and Secondary Director of National Programs.Education: Minimum of Masters Degree in School Counseling & current counseling license.Languages: Fluency in oral and written English required, fluency in Spanish preferred.Qualifications: The position requires the following:Minimum 3 years of international teaching and counseling. Commitment to the Lincoln school Mission, Values, and Beliefs, and ability to support the strategic direction of the school in both words and actionExperience in an international school settingUnderstanding of the IB Diploma program and requirementsExcellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other administratorsExperience in a highly collaborative and innovative learning communityExperience with Advisory programs and curriculum development for Advisory, grades 9-12Experience in university and college counseling Experience in scheduling - design and implementationExperience in Social/Emotional Learning (SEL) and well-beingExperience in PowerSchool, Schoology, Managebac, or other online learning platformsStart of employment: August 2026.Apply by November 28, 2025.How to apply: Please send CV and cover letter in English to: applicants@lincoln.edu.ar, and clarify the position you are applying for in the title “HS Counselor”.
