EXPLORATORY WORLD LANGUAGE TEACHER DescriptionTo ensure that each student will think critically, communicate effectively, understand cultural heritage and diversity in all four domains of the language (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
Essential FunctionsOrganize and maintain all classroom and equipment in functioning orderCreate a classroom atmosphere that is condusive to learning through organizationTeach and apply safety principles as part of all instructionDemonstrate and maintain current knowledge in technology educationIncorporate equipment and apparatus and use technology where possible to supplement instructionMaintain student records, including all required paperworkCommunicate regularly with parents and be available for educational purposes outside the instructional day when required or requestedDemonstrate appropriate planning and the use of a variety of instruction techniques and strategiesMaintain and upgrade instructional content by using core content document and exit outcome, as developed by the School DistrictAttend staff meetings and department meetingsExhibit life-long learning practices (Continuing Education/Staff Development participation)Additional DutiesPerforms other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the SuperintendentNote:
