HIL Test Engineer

We’re Hiring | HIL Test Engineer – Lombard, IL (Onsite)We’re looking for an experienced NI HIL Test Engineer to join our engineering team in Lombard, IL (1136 North Garfield Street, Lombard, IL 60148).If you have hands-on expertise with NI VeriStand, LabVIEW, TestStand, and MATLAB, and a passion for validating embedded control systems in automotive or off-highway applications, this role is for you!🔧 Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain NI HIL test setups for embedded systemsAutomate test scripts using LabVIEW, VeriStand, and MATLABIntegrate and validate software/hardware interfaces in HIL environmentsAnalyze test results and document findingsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support validation activities🎓 Required Skills:Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering5+ years of HIL testing experience (automotive/off-highway)Strong skills in NI Veristand, LabVIEW, MATLAB/SimulinkGood understanding of CAN, LIN, J1939 protocolsStrong problem-solving and teamwork abilities⭐ Preferred:Experience with NI TestStand, real-time simulation toolsKnowledge of model-based design and embedded software testing📍 Location: Onsite – Lombard, IL
