About The RoleThe Human Resources Generalist at Field & Main Bank plays a vital role in supporting the organization’s HR functions across multiple domains, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, training, and compliance. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can serve as a bridge between employees and management, ensuring a positive employee experience and adherence to legal and organizational standards. The HR Generalist will manage various HRIS systems, assist with payroll processes, and contribute to organizational development initiatives.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to utilize their expertise in a dynamic banking environment, supporting strategic HR initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence and engagement. QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of five years of HR experience, including at least two years in a banking or financial services setting. Professional certification such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is essential.

Experience with HRIS and payroll systems, particularly Paycor, is required. The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, and a high level of confidentiality. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to multitask effectively are critical for success in this role. ResponsibilitiesThe Human Resources Generalist will undertake a broad range of duties to support the HR function, including: Onboarding: Managing new hire processes, including preparing workspaces, processing paperwork, maintaining I-9 records, providing HRIS training, conducting orientation sessions, and supporting hiring managers with recruitment activities such as phone screens, assessments, and offer letters.

Training & Organizational Development: Coordinating and facilitating employee training programs, managing the annual training schedule, ordering training materials, and maintaining records of attendance and completion in the LMS system. HR Operations: Handling employee inquiries, scheduling meetings, maintaining personnel files, and ensuring compliance with legal and company policies. Assisting with HRIS data entry, generating reports, and supporting payroll processes. Employee Relations & Compliance: Addressing employee concerns, managing employee relations issues, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintaining labor law postings and supporting the performance review process. Benefits Administration:

Conducting benefits enrollment meetings, counseling employees on plan options, assisting during open enrollment, reconciling benefit invoices, and resolving claims issues to maximize employee understanding and utilization of benefits. Wellness & Recognition Programs: Organizing wellness activities, health fairs, and employee recognition events, including scheduling health visits and managing related platforms. Additional Duties: Supporting organizational initiatives, maintaining company organizational charts, assisting with HR projects, and performing other duties as assigned to foster a positive and compliant work environment.
