About The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and professional Inbound Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the frontline representative for our Medical Marijuana Card Program (MMCP), handling inbound calls from patients, caregivers, physicians, and law enforcement officials. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service while managing call volume and processing related work efficiently.

This position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of multitasking and maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment. The role is based in our office, with scheduled hours from 9: 30 am to 6: 00 pm, including the flexibility to handle the last call in the queue after hours. QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess at least one year of call center experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent listening and comprehension skills, judgment, and a customer service orientation.

Proficiency in keyboarding and multitasking is required, along with the ability to work extended periods seated at a workstation. Physical ability to sit for long durations while typing and using a headset is necessary. Prior experience in healthcare or government customer service environments is a plus. ResponsibilitiesAs a Customer Service Representative, your core responsibilities will include answering an average of 70-100 inbound calls daily related to the Medical Marijuana Card Program. You will interact professionally with patients, caregivers, physicians, and law enforcement officials, providing accurate information and resolving inquiries promptly.

At times, you may need to initiate outbound calls to follow up on processing work or gather additional information. You will document interactions accurately within our systems, ensuring all data is correct and up to date. Additionally, you will handle administrative duties as assigned, such as updating records, processing applications, and assisting in other program-related tasks. Adherence to scheduled hours from 9: 30 am to 6: 00 pm is mandatory, with flexibility to manage the call queue until the last call is answered. The role requires a collaborative attitude and the ability to adapt to evolving procedures and policies.
