The interpreter will provide over-the-phone (OPI) and video remote interpreting (VRI) services to facilitate effective communication between healthcare providers and Spanish-speaking patients. Daily tasks include interpreting complex medical terminology, conveying information accurately, and upholding professional standards of confidentiality. The role involves active collaboration with a diverse team while delivering critical language support in real-time.QualificationsExperience in Simultaneous Interpretation to handle real-time language conversion under time-sensitive conditions.Strong bilingual fluency in both Spanish and English, both written and spoken.Exceptional listening and communication skills to facilitate clear dialogue.Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining professional discretion and confidentiality.Prior experience in healthcare or medical interpretation is a plus.Certified or trained in medical interpreting programs is preferred.
