Looking for Senior Data AnalystRole : Senior Data Analyst Location: Hybrid 1-Day a week(Toronto /Canada)Job type: Contract(6 Months) - High possibility of ExtentionPay : CAD$55 /HourStart date : ImmediateThe candidate must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 5 years Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with a strong background in business data analysis, SQL development, and reporting. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and help shape data solutions that align with business objectives.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, technically proficient, and experienced in translating business needs into actionable insights and technical requirements. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture, refine, and document user stories and data requirementsMap business requirements to data and participate in defining data models in collaboration with data engineersCreate prototypes and proof-of-concept dashboards using Tableau and SQLTranslate complex business logic into clear and actionable data tasks for engineering teamsDesign and write complex SQL queries for analysis and reportingDevelop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex SSIS packages including data flow, control flow, and error handlingPerform basic unit testing and assist in business acceptance testing (BAT)Document business rules, data transformations, and reporting logicBuild and maintain reports and dashboards in Tableau to support business decision-makingQualifications:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis and report developmentStrong expertise in SQL and SSIS – must-haveSolid understanding of SSIS components including data flow tasks, control flow, and error handlingProven experience building reports and dashboards using TableauStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to articulate business logic clearly and collaborate effectively with data engineers and developersExperience participating in or contributing to data modeling activities is a strong plusDetail-oriented with the ability to perform unit testing and support user acceptance testingPlease share your profile to hr@hish.
