The opportunityHVDC is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to work together with us in an international environment with plenty of opportunities. You will be working with supplier quality and development for HVDC Valve Components which could be described as the heart of the HVDC-station. We are open to hiring someone who is early in their career, provided you are driven, curious, and ambitious. You should be someone who excels in communicating with suppliers and other stakeholders, and who sees collaboration and partnership as the key to successful business relationships. We are interested to learn more about you and what you can contribute with so don’t hesitate to apply even though you don’t meet all requirements!How You´ll Make An ImpactDrive Quality for assigned suppliers, improving quality performance via Quality plan implementation Support new supplier onboarding by ensuring a robust qualification process execution Own supplier results as measured by key metrics and identify area for improvements utilizing Supplier scorecards Manage supplier Nonconformities (containment action, corrective actions and Root Cause Analysis) and analyze periodically historical NC to drive improvement plan Planning, Execution and Follow up of Surveillance Audits (Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement) Support Supplier Quality Reviews to drive Continuous Improvement Support Supplier claim management process The role requires travelling to suppliers for solving quality issues, quality process developments and inspection of components and products Your background Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering 3+ years’ experience in quality roles, preferably in a multinational companyGreen Belt certification is desirable Experience in quality audit execution (certified quality auditor would be a plus) Good knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes assessment Experience in product qualification process (PPAP or similar) Fluency in English – capability to lead technical conference calls, read drawings and procedures in English Solid communication skills for cross functional and global team environments What We OfferCollective agreementFlexible working timeHealth care and wellness allowanceFantastic career possibilities within Hitachi Energy both within Sweden and globallyMentor to support you throughout onboard phaseVarious trainings and education supporting employee development Diversified company with over 70+ nationalities working in SwedenSupplementary compensation for parental leaveEmployee Benefit Portal with thousands of discounts and perksMore information Are you ready for a new exciting challenge?
