About The Job Integrated Models ArchitectOur client blends a rich automotive heritage with groundbreaking innovation in electric vehicle technology. With over 700 employees and strong backing from a leading sports car manufacturer, it is strategically led by an industry pioneer. ResponsibilitiesDefine and manage the integrated vehicle model infrastructure for simulation and Real-Time applications. Develop and maintain model versioning and parameterisation management processes. Define, develop, and maintain model interfaces to ensure smooth integration across systems. Perform high-fidelity model reduction techniques (e. g. , lumping of masses and volumes, timestep optimisation, simplification, mapping) to enable Real-Time simulation.
Develop accurate sensor and actuator models for virtual testing and system validation. Integrate and troubleshoot models within Real-Time platforms and fully integrated vehicle simulation environments. Coordinate and manage external suppliers for outsourced modelling and integration activities. RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience in an automotive OEM or automotive engineering services company. Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. Strong expertise in vehicle systems and powertrain modelling. Experience with Real-Time platforms such as dSPACE, SpeedGoat, Concurrent, or equivalent. Excellent command of MATLAB/Simulink for model development and simulation.
Advanced knowledge of CAE system modelling tools such as GT-Suite and Simscape. Familiarity with distributed version control systems (e. g. , Git). Experience in both experimental testing and simulation techniques applied to automotive development. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments. Capable of synthesising complex technical inputs for presentation to senior management. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. High attention to detail, flexibility, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment. Curiosity and an innovative mindset to explore and apply new methods and technologies.
