Ability to speak a community language is also desirable.Juno has an Equal Opportunity Exemption (H148/2021) and requests applications from women (trans and cis) and non-binary people only.ABOUT THE ROLEWorking with a team of committed professionals you will be responsible for providing case management support to women, non-binary people, and accompanying children, who are experiencing homelessness and its related impacts, often caused by experiences of family violence.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role you will have the following:Demonstrated experience working in the homelessness sector.Demonstrated commitment to working in a framework that is feminist, intersectional, and trauma informed.Communication and advocacy skills, including the capacity to partner with your clients in the support, as well as to consult and collaborate with service providers and other professionals.Demonstrated practice in working collaboratively.Have assessment and case planning skills, be flexible and open to new and creative ways of achieving outcomes.Be able to prioritise and manage competing tasks to support clients with co-existing needs to work toward their goals.Enjoy working with a small team, have great relationship skills and enjoy communicating with a diverse range of people.THE BENEFITSFeminist, intersectional, and politicised trauma informed leadershipWorkplace committed to diversity and inclusion.
