You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. Social companionshipSupport with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparationTransportation to appointments, errands and social outings Standby assistance with transfersOvernight safety assistanceQualificationsNo healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or hospice persons preferredExperience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plusDaily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phonePass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) testMust be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
