Job Description
This is an exciting new opportunity to join our expanding Public Initiative Office working within the Mater Private Network in Dublin. The post will be a full time permanent post.Knowledge & Skills 2 – 3 years strong administration experience Leaving certificate or equivalent Discretion and Confidentiality Excellent IT skills and ability to use multiple software packages Sound knowledge, awareness and experience of general administration tasks. Awareness/sensitivity toward patient needs. Ability to use initiative is essential Good interpersonal and communication skills Hospital experience essentialDuties And Responsibilities·Answering patient and hospital queries Maintaining Patient status updates on various IT systems daily Responsibility for following up on patient status Responding to queries in a timely fashion Copying/faxing/emailing/typing as required Liaising with referring hospitals, Consultants and NTPF Logging patient details to NTPF Master Database Making offers of appointment to patients Communicating confirmation letters to patients Registering patients on relevant systems Liaising with Consultants secretaries Liaising with Central Booking Office as required Liaising with Admissions as required Liaising with Day Therapy and Theatre with respect to confirmation of theatre slots Collecting/delivering/preparation of charts Ensure discharge summaries are completed and submitted. Ensuring Clinical information is completed and submitted to relevant departments Requesting outliers where necessary with NTPF Working as part of a the team; Carry out other general tasks, which may be assigned from time to time.THE MATER PRIVATE NETWORK IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES EMPLOYER
